Co-curricular activitiesare defined as the activities that enable to supplement and complement the curricular activities. These are the very important part and parcel of education institutions to develop the students’ personality as well as to strengthen the classroom learning. These activities are organized after the school hours. The example of co-curricular activities are sports, musical activities, debate, art, camping, marching, club andsociety and uniforms unit.The first advantages of extra-curricular are it they can develop good moralvalues and discipline among the students. Activities like participation in gamedebates, music, dramas and speech can help students enable to express themselvesfreely and helps to develop the spirit of healthy competition.

These activities guidestudents how to organize and present an activity, how to develop skills, how to co-operate and co-ordinate in different situations-all these helps in leadership qualities.In addition it also will made students more discipline. For example, students mustattend the various of practises, training and also meeting of club punctually, so if theyare late they are usually reprimanded and soon they realize that obeying orders isimportant .Moreover, if the students take part in outdoor activities that was organizedby any club like camping and marching, they have a lot of strict rules that must toobeyed especially for the students that elected as captain, leaders, secretaries andcommittee members.Secondly, co-curricular activities can also improve our health. When do moreexercises we can burn some extra fat in our body which that can harmful our life.Furthermore, it regulates bloods to the brain. This process is very important becauseblood carry oxygen that needed by brain to work efficiently. Thus, it can reduce usfrom get sleepy easily because our brain gets oxygen.

The term curriculum refers to the programme of study in various academic subjects (e.g Maths, English, History, Science, Spanish) followed by students at various levels of education. The school or college’s teaching staff are employed to teach this curriculum, and students are periodically assessed (e.g. by exams and term papers) in their progress in each curriculum subject. As they grow older, students’ achievements in their curriculum subjects are seen as important in helping them get into a good university or college, and to find a good job when they leave education. Having a wide range of experiences prepares people better for the future, especially in today’s uncertain world. The broad education that the co-curriculum can provide is better preparation for life in a society where an individual may change career several times in their life. Students must therefore have a fundamental grasp of multiple skills. For instance, athletes who had their career cut short due to mishaps might venture into business, having had co-curricular experience of entrepreneurship as part of their education. Speech and debate clubs might give a doctor or engineer the communication skills to move into broadcasting, teaching, or even politics. Placing more emphasis on the co-curriculum thus ensures a variety of possibilities for young people to choose from instead of being sidelined.

Students have a right to a broad education. Why should a science student have to give up music, or a social studies major not get opportunities for sport?
